Our Journey Through Time
Established in 1954 under the visionary leadership of Mattannur Education Society, Mattannur Higher Secondary School began its journey with just 113 students and a dedicated team of educators. Over the decades, the school has evolved into a thriving center of learning, earning the trust and respect of generations of students, parents, and the wider community.
Guided by a commitment to academic excellence, character development, and social responsibility, MHSS has continuously adapted to the changing needs of education while preserving the values that define its rich heritage. A significant milestone was achieved in 2000 when the institution was upgraded to a Higher Secondary School, expanding opportunities for students to pursue higher education and future careers.
Today, with more than 2500 students, dedicated faculty members, modern learning facilities, and a vibrant campus culture, MHSS stands as a symbol of excellence in education.
